A warm welcome to the March issue of What’s On in the month where we eagerly look forward to ushering in a new season and celebrating spring in all its forms. Yes it has indeed been a long, dark winter but with Easter just a few weeks
away we’ve put together a packed issue that has something for absolutely everyone.
At the time of year when we’re thinking about holidays or spending time with loved ones, the team have put together a sparkling attractions guide which we’re confident ticks all the boxes. It might be an Aquarium, a museum or Animal park
but with the south-west bursting with variety and family-friendly choices, we urge you to discover the treasures on your door-step while enjoying quality time with your loved ones.
In last month’s issue the What’s On team brought you the first of its celebrated wedding guides. It seems that love and romance is alive and kicking in the West Country and with more couples than ever saying ‘I do’, we’re delighted to present our second feature of the year packed full of helpful hints and choice galore. It’s also the time when students of all ages plan for that rite of passage known as ‘Prom Night’. Planning for any auspicious occasion can prove a minefield, but with our handy guide and helpful hints have a look at our guide to Prom etiquette and help make the day a memorable one for all the right reasons.
In the New Year we launched the What’s On Mother of the year competition to celebrate our Mums and to give you a chance to tell us what makes your Mother one in a million? We’ve been inundated with entries and one lucky winner and their Mum will be receiving a special prize which we’ll tell you all about next month.
